Why does the machine display "LINE LIMIT!"?

Description of Solution 200000003106

This message appears because the number of lines that you try to print does not fit the tape inside the machine.

1. Press the #BS# key once to clear the error message and install a cassette with a wider tape or decrease the number of lines by using the #BS# key. Maximum of 2 lines can be printed on a ½-inch tape or a 3/8-inch tape, only one line can be printed on a 9/64-inch and ¼-inch tapes.

2. If you have the correct size tape installed, try removing the cassette tape from the machine and reinstalling it back into the machine. Make sure the cassette tape is sited firmly down in the compartment.

If the problem persists, your machine may require service.
