Why is my unit typing the wrong characters?

" Make sure your keyboard setting is correct. If using standard 411 daisywheel, the keyboard setting should be at KB I. It is also possibleyour daisywheel needs resetting. Turn the machine off, wait ten seconds and turn back on. If the wrong characters continue printing, change to a new daisywheel. If problem persists contact your Authorized Brother Service Center. You may locate your authorized Brother service center bycontacting us as 1-800-284-4357 or visiting our website.
