Labels are jammed in the machine or are not ejected correctly after printing.

A piece of label may have stuck inside the machine, causing the labels to jam.

 

1. Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.

 

2. Open the cover, lift up the DK roll release lever and remove the DK roll from the compartment.

 

3. With two business cards, insert them into the slot from the DK roll compartment; push them toward the front of the machine, forcing any jammed label out and then pull the business cards back out.

 

4. Repeat the above step if necessary to ensure there are no pieces of label jammed inside the machine.

 

5. Re-install the DK roll into the compartment. Ensure the tape of labels is NOT under the right foot of the spool (the foot has to make direct contact with the five switches located on the right side of the compartment), the tab on the right spool slide between the opening of the guide on the right side and the roll is seated firmly in the compartment.

 

6. Thread the end of the DK roll into the slot until you can see the end emerge from under the black roller.

 

7. Lower DK roll release lever and close the top cover.

 

8. Plug the power cord back to the electrical outlet.

 

9. Turn on the machine and press the Feed button.

 

If the problem persists, your machine may require service.
