When printing PDF files from an Adobe application, some of the characters are lost and do not print. What can I do?

Description of Solution 200000009726

Printouts from Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat Reader, or Adobe Reader can lose some characters when a PDF file does not contain the fonts that are in the document.  You may be able to resolve this issue by using the "Print As Image" function within the Adobe application.  The location of this option may vary depending on the version of Adobe software that you are using.  If you require further assistance, please refer to http://www.adobe.com.

1.  From your application, select File => Print.

2.  Click Advanced.

3.  Place a check in Print As Image.

4.  Click OK.

5. Click OK again.  The document should now print properly.

NOTE:  If the issue continues, you may need to update your Adobe application or configure the application's settings.  Please contact Adobe for further support at http://www.adobe.com.
