Brother machine uses the PC301 print
cartridge. The ribbon refills you can use in this cartridge are:PC302RF
= 2 ribbon refill pack or PC304RF =
4 ribbon refill pack.
Open the front cover by placing your hand into the document feeder and pulling
it towards you.
Open the top cover by lifting up on the two blue levers on either side of the

Place the cartridge on a flat surface with the label closest to you and the
indented arrow on the cartridge pointing away from you.
Turn the cartridge over.

pushing up on the blue gear to release it from the

the cartridge and place the spool on the flat surface.
Remove the empty spool by holding the side of the ribbon cartridge and pushing
up on the white gear to release it from the cartridge.
Lift the empty spool on an angle so that the black gear releases from the
cartridge and place the spool on the flat surface.
Remove the gears from the ribbon spools.
Discard the expired ribbon and spools.
Remove the ribbon refill from either the PC302 or PC304 refill
Remove the packaging and rubber band.
Place the ribbon refill on the flat surface with the
