How do I remove a label jam inside the machine? The end of the roll is stuck inside the machine, how do I remove it?

Description of Solution 200000017667

1. Press the On/Off button to turn off the machine.

2. Open the cover and remove the DK roll from the compartment.

3. With a business card, insert it into the slot from the DK roll compartment, push it toward the front of the machine, forcing the jam label out and then pull it back out.

4. Repeat the above step if necessary.

5. Re-install the DK roll into the compartment. Ensure the tape of labels is NOT under the right foot of the spool (the foot has to make direct contact with the five switches located on the right side of the compartment), the tab on the right spool slide between the opening of the guide on the right side and the roll is seated firmly in the compartment.

6. Thread the end of the DK roll into the slot until you can see the end emerge from the front of the machine.

7. Close the top cover.

8. Turn on the machine and press the Feed button.
