How do I change the tape margin?

Description of Solution 200000021046

To change the tape margin:

1. Press the TOOLS key to display the Tools menu.

2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key until Cut Option is highlighted on the display.

3. Press the ENTER key (next to the Space key) to display a list of selection for the Cut Option.

There are four selections for Cut Option:

Margin L (Large) - The label will have a one-inch left and right margin.

Margin S (Small) - The machine will automatically cut off a piece of blank tape before printing a label.  After it is printed, the label is cut off from cassette tape. The label will have a 0.16 inch left and right margin.

Chain - The machine will automatically cut off a piece of blank tape before printing the label.  After the label is printed, it remains in the machine. The machine does not cut off the label until there is another label to be print or until the key with the scissors symbol is pressed. The label will have a 0.16 inch left and right margin.

Note: The Chain option will save tape when printing multiple labels.

No Cut - Use this setting to print a strip of labels with no cuts in between.  The machine will feed about 1.04 inch of tape before it begins to print. After the label is printed, it remains in the machine.  If you print addition labels there will be a 0.31 inch blank space between each label.  Press the key with the scissors symbol when the last label is printed.

4. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key until the desire setting is highlighted.

5. Press the ENTER key to apply the setting.
