Where can I find the Ptouch/Label PTSweep utility (cleanup tool) to remove the driver in Windows OS?

Please close all the applications and then do the following steps to find the Ptsweep utility to remove the existing driver in your computer.

1. Click on the following link to download the PTSweep utility:

2. Scroll down to find your Ptouch/Label model.

3. Click on the Download button, read the License Agreement, click I Accept and then click Save.

Note: There are two downloads, one for 32 bit Windows operating system and one for 64 bit Windows operating system. To check which system you have, click on Start, right click on Computer (My Computer for XP) and select Properties; look under System to see if you have a 32 bit system or a 64 bit system (for XP go to the General tab and look under System, if it does not list 64 bit, download the file for 32 bit).

4. At the left side of the Save dialog box, click on the Desktop icon and then click Save. Note the name of the file.

5. After the P-touch/Label driver downloaded to your PC's desktop, go to the Desktop, and double click on the downloaded file.

6. Unzip the file; it will create a folder on your desktop with the same file name.

7. Double click on the folder, double click on file name PTSWEEP.EXE, click on RUN button, and then Click OK button to restart the PC.

8. After logging back on the PC, you can delete/remove the downloaded file and unzip folder from your Desktop.

9. The newest PTouch driver is available for free download from the Brother web site.
