1. The battery may be discharged. Please plug the AC adaptor into the printer and a AC power outlet. If the Charge indicator light does not come on the battery may need to be replaced, or the printer and the AC adaptor may need the attention of an expert. Please call the sales representative where the product was purchased or call Brother Customer Support at 1-877-276-8437.

2. If the battery has been previously charged and the AC adaptor was left plugged into the printer and the power outlet, the battery may havebecome discharged. Please disconnect and reconnect the AC adaptor. If the Charge indicator light does not come on the printer and the AC adaptor may need the attention of an expert. Please call the sales representative where the product was purchased or call Brother Customer Support at 1-877-276-8437.

Please note: the AC adaptor will perform one battery charge cycle when it is plugged into the printer. The charging system is not designed to trickle charge the battery; therefore, it is recommended that the AC adaptor be unplugged after the batter charge cycle is complete.

To recover from this condition unplug the AC adaptor from the printer, insure the printer is off, and reinsert the AC adaptor#s plug into the printer. Please note: it is not recommended that the print be used during a battery charge cycle.
