How do I clear the message "Print Unable XX" (followed by a two character code) from the display?

1. Switch off power to the machine for five minutes and then switch back on:

 

- If the PRINT UNABLE message has been replaced by FUSER ERROR or SELF-DIAGNOSTIC, continue to STEP 2.

 

- If the Status LED stays green and the error has not returned, go to STEP 3.

 

- If the PRINT UNABLE message returns, the machine will need to be serviced. If your machine is within warranty, you can locate a Brother Authorized Service Center (ASC) in your area by clicking on the link below:

If your machine is out of warranty, you can locate a Brother Authorized Service Center using the information listed above.

 

2. Leave the machine with power ON for 15 minutes and then power the machine off and on again.

 

- If the FUSER ERROR or SELF-DIAGNOSTIC messages reappear on the LCD, then the machine will require servicing. If your machine is within warranty, you can locate a Brother Authorized Service Center (ASC) in your area by clicking on the link below:

3. Print a test page by pressing MENU, 3 (Printer), 2 (Print Options), 3 (Test Print), START.
