My cassette cover has come off what can I do?Description of Solution 200000024868
In the event that the cassette cover assembly has come off
the machine it can be reattached by completing the following process:
1. Locate the two oblong slots, one on each side of the
printer body on the end with the free standing loop of the torsion open spring.
This would be the opposite end of the machine from the Brother logo (brother)
found on the top cover.
2. Insert the right and left bosses, located on the clear
plastic protrusions on each side of the cassette cover assembly.
3. Insert the bosses into the oblong slots while making sure
the free standing loop of the torsion open spring is between the paper cassette
cover assembly and the paper cassette cavity.
4. Close and reopen the cover to ensure that the cassette
cover assembly functions properly.
If there are continued problems with the cassette cover
assembly please contact customer service.
The machine has a one year limited depot warranty. If the
