The machine does not turn on (no power) when using battery or the battery is not charged, how can I correct this?

Description of Solution 200000029576

1. Remove the battery compartment cover, ensure that the battery cable is connected to the machine and reinstall the cover.

2. Connect an AD9000 or AD9100 adapter directly to the machine and check if it turns on.  If not, the adapter or the machine could be bad.

3.  The battery recharging LED indicator above the display lights up while the battery is being recharge, the indicator goes off when recharging is finished.  If the LED indicator comes on for a second and then goes off, the battery could be bad; let the battery charge for 2-1/2 hours.

4. After 2-1/2 hours, disconnect the adapter from the machine and check if it turns on with just the battery.  If it does not turn on, the battery could be bad.
