Why is the tape jamming inside the machine?
1. Open the cassette cover and remove the cassette tape from the
machine. Ensure the end of the tape is fed under the two tape guides on
the cassette tape. If the tape is out of the guide, it will feed out in the
wrong direction and causes the tape to jam. You can attempt to reinsert
the tape under the tape guide.
2. Examine the
cassette tape colored ink ribbon (behind the clear film ribbon); it should go
back into the cassette, NOT stick to the backing tape (on the left

ribbon stuck to the backing tape or exited all the way out from cassette, the
cassette tape no longer can be use in the machine, needs to be
Normally the machine will place the image of the label onto the back of the
clear film ribbon and the used ink ribbon will go back into the cassette. The
clear film ribbon with the image then goes on top of the sticky tape backing and
out of the cassette tape.
3. Check the
area by the two black rollers and the tape exit area, remove any pieces of label
or foreign objects that may be stuck inside the machine.
4. Try another
If the problem
persists, your machine may require service.
The machine has a
