Why is the Status LED on the machine RED?

This symptom indicates that there is an error with the machine.  Please try clearing the error, by powering off the machine and then powering the machine back on.  The LED should turn green indicating the error has been corrected.

 

If the problem persists, your machine may require service.

 

The machine has a two year limited exchange warranty. If the machine is in warranty, call Brother Customer Service at 1-877-Brother (1-877-276-8437) for warranty options.
