Why is the tape jamming inside the machine?Description of Solution 200000037900
1. Open the back
cover and remove the cassette tape from the machine. Ensure the end of the
tape is fed under the tape guide at cassette tape corner. If not, it will feed
out in the wrong direction and cause the tape to jam. You can attempt to
reinsert the tape under the tape guide. The clear and color ink ribbons
need to be in under a separate tape guide.
Normally the color ink ribbon (behind the clear film ribbon) goes back into the
cassette. If it attaches to the backing tape (went between the clear
and backing tapes), then the cassette tape needs to be replaced.

the wrong direction and jam.
4. Reinstall the
cassette tape and close the back cover. Ensure the cutter lever is not jammed.
Press down on the cutter lever and then release the lever. The cutter
lever should move about a 3/4-inch. When the lever is released, it should spring
back up to the initial position.
