Why does the machine display "CHECK THE NUMBER OF LINES! 3 MAX"?

Description of Solution 200000039469

This error message appears if you are attempting to print more than three lines on a 0.47 inch (12 mm) tape.  This tape can only hold maximum of three lines, install a wider tape if you wish to print more than three lines.

If you are using 0.70 inch (18 mm) or larger and still getting the error message, open the tape compartment cover and remove the tape cassette from the machine.  Re-install it back into the tape compartment.  Push down on top of the cassette; ensure that it is seated firmly in the tape compartment and close the cover.

If message appears, try another cassette tape; if the problem persists, your machine may require service.
