I received an error messge that no devices can be found over the network while printing to the label printer. How do I correct this problem?

Make sure a solid green light appears on both the Wi-Fi and Status lamp as below:

NOTE:  If you are still experiencing a same problem printing wirelessly to the label printer when both the Wi-Fi and Status light are on, it is very possible that IP address in the label printer has been changed. Please perform the steps below to re-install the driver to assign a new IP address to the label printer.  If you already had the driver downloaded to your PC, go to step 10 (skip step 1-9).

1. Go to http://www.brother-usa.com/downloads/Default.aspx

 

2. Select a Product Group, the Model, and then click on the Go button.

 

3. Under Your Results, click on Downloads on our Online Solution Center.

 

4. Click Downloads, Under Select OS, select your Operating System, and then click on the Search button.

 

5. Click Download & Information link, under Printer Driver. The screen changes supply the software version; update history and download/installation info.

 

6. Click on the Download button, read the License Agreement, click I Accept and then click Save.

 

 

For Windows XP:

 

7. At the left side of the Save dialog box, click on the Desktop icon and then click Save. Note the name of the file.

 

8. After the driver downloaded to your PC's desktop, go to the Desktop, and double click on the downloaded file to unzip it.

 

9. It will create a folder on your desktop with the same file name.

 

10. Double click on the folder and then double click on file name D_SETUP (or go to the Sub folder x86/x64 and then double click on Setup.exe).

 

11. Proceed with the Driver's installation by following the graphical steps below:

 

 

 

For Windows Vista/7/8:

 

7. Click Save. Note the name of the file.

 

8. After the driver downloaded to your PC's Downloads folder, go to the Desktop (or click Start icon) => Computer => Downloads, and then double click on the downloaded file to unzip it.

 

9. It will create a subfolder under Downloads folder with the same file name.

 

10. Double click on the folder and then double click on file name D_SETUP (or go to the Sub folder x86/x64 and then double click on Setup.exe).

 

11. Proceed with the Driver's installation by following the graphical steps below:

Make sure Label Printer is Power On with a solid green light under Status and then connect the USB cable between the PC and Label Printer:

 

After connecting the USB cable to the PC and label printer, it may take about a minute to install the driver and establish network connection.
