The Ptouch/Label printer does not print or a printing error is received while printing from the Ptouch Editor (or from other Brother software). How can I correct this error?

The error could be caused by any of the following issues:

  • Check that the USB cable is connected correctly.
  • Check that the DK Roll (or PTouch tape) is installed correctly. If not, remove and reinstall it.
  • Check that there is enough roll/tape left.
  • Check that the DK Roll (or PTouch tape) compartment cover is closed.
  • Check if a print error or transmission error occurs.  If so, turn off the PTouch/Label printer and then turn it on again.
