Using ScanHub (Android devices)

You can use your Android device's application to view the scanned images stored on the scanner's SD card and download scanned images to the Android device.

1.    Please turn on the scanner and make sure to enable the Wi-Fi by sliding the switch on the right side of the scanner to the on position.

 

 

2.    Please wait for about 40 seconds for the LED on the front panel to turn from Red to Blue indicating that the Wi-Fi is active.

 

Note:* If the LED indicator turns orange, it means that the scanner is set up with internet access enabled.

 

3.    Connect your wireless device to the scanner via the Wi-Fi settings page on your wireless device.

 

4.    Once connected, open the ScanHub App on the wireless device.

 

5.    There are two Icons at the bottom left of the screen.  They represent; Local and Wireless.

 

  Local    Wireless  (for iPad, iPod users, the Loacal Icon will appear as a small computer monitor)

 

6.    To get items from the scanner, choose the Wireless button.  To work with items already loaded to your wireless device, choose Local.

 

7.    The App will sync with the scanner.

 

8.    The application may ask for the password to access the images on the scanner.  Please use the default SSID password printed on the bottom of your scanner.

 

9.    Click on the photo button.   Then Click on the DCIM folder  Then click on the 100PHOTO folder.

 

10. The contents of the scanners SD card will be displayed on the wireless device.

 

11. Pressing the Sync button within the ScanHub App will download the contents to your wireless device.

 

12. You may also press and hold an image to open a context menu that will give you more options.

 

13. The documents will be saved in internal storage in the ScanHub folder which can be accessed by your file manager App.

Note:* The settings button is password protected by a 4 digit numerical code.  The default is 4 zeros.
