I used this label maker to make a label for my Mail Box, and it worked perfect. I loaded the program on my computer, and Windows XP worked great with this. I am running a 32 bit processor.

If you already have a notebook, or a netbook you don't need another keyboard, Low cost and works great.

I had not really used Brother for printers since the old dot matrix days until I purchased my first ever lable printer, a GL-570. Having had such good service from that printer, I had no reservations about purchasing my PT-2430PC. Talk about spoiled, I also have a couple of portable P-Touch label printers, which work just fine. But since I have been using the PT2430, I am a total convert. Having the ablilty to print from my PC and using any typeface I want is well worth the investment. This is one of my favorite devices. I am very satisfied.
