I am very happy with this printer. I have been using for a month or more and have NOT lost wireless connectivity once. My HP would loose connection after few hours. I have been able to print with google print using my android phone and tablet.
I really like this printer!

Worthy successoe to 295CN
January 31, 2014
By FaOfBrother from New Orleans, La.
Had to replace a 4 year old Bro 295 CN as it would No longer print with magenta ink. Everything else still works fine, however. I choose Brother again based on Brother's reputation and my great experience wit the 295 CN. This new model has more features and functions than the 295 CN. I tries scanning a 60 year old black and white roll film negative and it worked fine. I then negated the negative to obtain a useable print. NOTE: Brother does NOT approve of this use as it could produce unacceptable results. Hunh? So what, it worked for me and if it had not, I would be out only a few minutes of my time.

So far so good
January 29, 2014
By mando from WA
In general this printer/scanner seems to do what it is advertised to do. I'm just using it in a home setting so it hasn't had a lot of use in the two months I've owned it.

Instructions for connecting it to a wireless network using a Mac computer could be much better. Frustration level was fairly high by the time I managed to get it working.

Just a great all-around printer
January 21, 2014
By Dick from Florida
I purchased this printer after reading many reviews and comments about it's photo printing qualities. I can't say enough good things about this printer: faxing, copying, photo printing, wifi ease. I have had this printer about a month and am still only half way through the oem cartridges after printing lots of stuff. This is my 4th Brother printer with one mfc-9440cn still be used. I bought the J870DW mainly for photo printing since lasers don't do a good job on photo paper. All the Brother printers I have owned are dependable work machines and compared to others very cost effective on inks and toners.
