Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc. Announces Strategic Alliance with Niceware International, LLC.
Collaboration Provides Advanced Labeling Solutions For Industries Often Challenged By Complex Label Requirements
Broomfield, CO, July 16, 2013 – Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc. (BMS) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brother International Corporation and premier provider of mobile and desktop thermal printing products, today announced it will team with Niceware International LLC to offer advanced barcode ID and tracking label solutions for clients across a variety of verticals.
“Our collaborative partnership with Niceware provides best in class software and best in class laminated label printers to enterprises with the most demanding and complex labeling needs.”
The initial project offers a turn-key solution for manufacturers – pairing the Brother™ PT-9700 industrial desktop label printer series and thermal transfer laminated labels with NiceLabel Designer Pro and PowerForms series. The solution represents best-in-class technology for creating complex industry-compliant barcode ID labels that are durable, error free, and generated on demand at the point of use.
According to Dave Crist, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc., “The innovative Brother tape technology and laminated, thermal transfer labels are a critical part of the solution and a key driver of the Brother-Niceware alliance.”
Today’s manufacturers require highly durable, on-demand label printing operating on a 24/7 basis to keep production lines running continuously. NiceLabel software and custom middleware solutions address complex interface and tracking needs while Brother printers and tapes meet the high speed, performance demands of tough manufacturing environments. These solutions are suited to manufacturing environments where everything from circuit boards to large chemical drums will be labeled.
Brother is recognized worldwide for the P-touch® brand of labelers and markets its industrial line of desktop thermal printing solutions (for warehouse, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and datacom) through the Brother Mobile Solutions subsidiary in Broomfield, Colorado. “Regulatory and compliance issues in verticals like healthcare and manufacturing have challenged AutoID printer manufacturers and ISVs to deliver increasingly sophisticated industry-compliant solutions,” said Crist. “Our collaborative partnership with Niceware provides best in class software and best in class laminated label printers to enterprises with the most demanding and complex labeling needs.”
