Reliable...not common in this class of products

Awesome! I have two of these along with heavy duty high volume printers from Ricoh, and this stands side by side next to the $3,000 printers.

Best Bang For The Buck
June 19, 2015
By RGilbert from Atlanta GA
This monster has a large footprint and weigh's 50.1 pounds which is the only Con I've found on it so far. Color output is phenomenally vivid for an entry level color lazer printer. Prints out color photo's with the best of them. To use Fax service on cable use the VoIP in settings under initial setup then press compatibly press Basic(VoIP) press home and your good to go. At 19 pages per minute if you need speed in the work force or home office go with a more expensive Brother model but for general all around printing needs this printer will do all that you could want it to do. Brother Tech Support is Top Notch and there when you need them.

So Far, So Good
June 15, 2015

After dealing with our Dell 715W printer's lack of reliability for far too long, I decided it was time to upgrade to a printer that has received great reviews from Consumer Reports. Although the Brother printer was more expensive than many that we reviewed, we needed the higher speed, increased reliability and higher quality printing capabilities of the Brother.

Nice printer but terrible customer service
June 12, 2015
By Radioguy from Midwest
Bought two of these along with the Brother toner/drum kits. The drums needed replacing about 10,000 pages short of the 15,000 page life span. The toner carts were okay, but kept having printing problems (lines/gray background on entire page. Called C/S and since I'd bought two drum kits at the same time, they weren't considered within the 90 day replacement period. Drum kits are about $240 from Brother, so was told to replace both drums and toners, and I had just replaced toners. They offered no replacement on their own parts and was essentially told, "too bad for you." Horrible practice. Great printer but very, very expensive to operate at about $250 per four months, and mine are not in heavy use. BEWARE THE HIDDEN COSTS!!!!
