We had a Brother printer before in our business. This new machine is outstanding. Recommend it to anyone.

So far I like the extra features this printer has, like 2 sided, 2 on 1, & color copies, however, there are a of couple features it needs to make it cheaper, faster & better for me. 1st - I do a lot of internal printing/copying. I want a 300 dpi option. This printer goes through toner at an alarming rate. 2nd - is a quick print icon for black & white, on the home screen. It takes too long pressing icons and waiting for the screens to change, especially when you want to copy right after you press print. I could have another customer invoice done in the time I spend waiting, making copies. I am still using my old printer. Printing on one, copying on the other, for each customer invoice, to save time and money.

Okay Purchase

Good quality printing. Fast enough. Easy to use except when printing envelopes and labels. Very cumbersome when printing envelopes. Can only print one at a time using the bypass tray. You must flip 2 levers on the back side down for every time you print envelopes and flip them back up for other single print jobs such as labels. Hard to find and are very hard to flip down or up. It feels like your going to break them off and I imagine it won't take long for that to happen since they are plastic. The bypass tray doesn't have an extension to slide out to stabilize the paper or envelope. Feeding envelopes or labels to get it to grab the paper is very touchy as you have to keep refeeding at times, otherwise it produces a "jammed" situation. this may be due to not having any support extensions to pull out. As for standard printing it's good, but the finish tray is located too far into the machine and it's hinders pulling out your finished copies. If I didn't pay so much for the machine, I would purchase some other brand. Not a very good business printer overall.
