Useful Machine
January 9, 2015
By Sam7x7 from Ruston, Louisiana
Our company purchased an MFC-9340CDW for our office. The first one worked great for several months and then we had a problem with the print roller coming apart. Brother was very cooperative and replaced the entire machine. We are very pleased with the present machine.

The Brother printer is good. A little slow and I am having problem with manual feed. Otherwise for the money it is OK.

I'm impressed
December 11, 2014
By oxyfill from Gulfport, Ms
Since I've purchased this unit, I've been impressed by the speed and quality of the print. The colors are great and the black and white is really sharp. Used to have an ink jet to do color and a black and white laser to do the rest, but having one unit to copy, scan, fax and print is really great. Love that it scans both sides of a document with one pass, saves time and insures that the copies are correct. Setting it up for wireless wi-fi printing was simple and works great. A must have for any small/home business.

Acceptable but disappointing
November 12, 2014
By Bandit from Colorado
I like that it is fast. I like all the functions. The touchscreen is becoming easier to navigate. It was nice to be able to scan a huge amount of pages with the ADF and create a single PDF document using a single command. For the most part it does have crisp text. What I don't like is that the black print is not a solid color; it is a form of greyscale dots. So it is hard to say that it is as crisp as my other laser printers. I do not like that I had to call for help to set it up, and ended up with a very long and tense experience. The colors are not vibrant. They are more dull. Hopefully I can figure out how to fix this. I cannot get it to only pull from the manual feed. If I'm too slow to get a page in the feeder, it will pull from the paper tray. I'm not thrilled with how easily it jams and that it pulls the paper in crooked from the manual feed. My expectations are very high because I'm in publishing. So these things may not be as important to someone else.
