Bought this printer on special at Staples and couldn't be happier!
Quality prints, wireless is flawless, the color is amazing!
I'd recommend this printer to ANYONE who's looking for a quality, color Laser Printer without having to have to take out a second mortgage to afford one!

This printer is a good printer that greatly exceeds my former canon inkjet printer that I kept alive for 11 years. Now I don't have the stress of ink cartridges continually clogging or running out in the middle of a print as well as printheads going bad.
It was hard to get it working in the bypass mode and took alot to finally get functional support from a competent Brother Co. representative. This printer comes with usless to no instructions regarding important matters. Here is what you need to know to make it work fine.
1. To use the bypass tray I finally was verbally informed that you have to wait until the printer says ready and then push the heavier paper into the side slot until it just slightly buckles and then at the exact right time it will snap it into the ready position moving it rapidly 3/8" and then it will sit ready for a print command. If you goof and get a nonsense message about removing all the print cartridges, clearing the jam, etc. -- just ignore that useless nonsense and open and close the lid and it will reset without following the bogus instructions resulting from a really bad input glitch associates with this printer.
2. Also you can use a 12' Walmart (a high quality one for $5.00 online) extension cord to the computer that has the USB port on one side and the one slightly different for the back of the normal printer despite what the instructions and "technical" support staff will tell you (can't remember its name).
I bought my printer for a mere $230 during one of their frequent sales through Costco and Staples. This is an incredible printer at that price. I have made several hundred color prints since buying it a few months ago. But it was a nightmare getting technical support to find out how to make it work in the bypass mode for printing heavier paper--see how above.
The print quality is slightly lower than an inkjet when printing on glossy photo paper, but it is far superior than an inkjet when printing on other paper because it seems to use tiny plastic particles that smooth the look of the print. This means I can use for example CD and DVD labels bought on line at Walmart for a mere 8 cents each instead of expensive glossy labels that cost alot of money elsewhere. So I save money on the cost of labels because I can use cheaper Walmart ones instead of 50 cent each glossy ones.

I only had this printer for a matter of 2 months, but if first impressions count, then "count this printer in"!! Truly an excellent print quality, either black/white or color. OfficeMax has a good price as well, which makes this an even better buy.
Thank you "Brother"; you got me hooked!!
