My Brother HL-4150CDN printer works extremely well EXCEPT for stand-alone color photographs or when including pictures/photos in documents. Even at the highest settings, the color rendition and quality is noticeably disappointing. I had read about this same complaint in reviews before I bought the printer but ignored their "advice".

A bit larger than I expect. Print time is quick and quiet. Overall quality is good, even on photos printed on plain paper. Finding memory expansion was a little tough, but inexpensive.
My second Brother printer, my Hl5040 has been a reliable workhorse for years, and I hope the color laser will be too.

Purchased the HL-4150CDN about a month ago. Haven't had to use it much yet, which is the reason for the missing 5th star. But I found the LAN setup to be easy, the printing quality to be very satisfactory, and the speed sufficient.
The load on the electricity circuit is quite heavy when the printer comes on line and dims the light in my room....I really need to get a higher rated line for the house though!
I got the printer through Amazon at a very good price and have found the price/quality balance to be excellent.
