    Amazing Machine
I've tried other die cutting machines and this one bypasses them by 100%. I love the fact that I can also do my quilt patterns with this machine and I can go on-line and add more designs if I want to. I get good clean cuts and can make my designs any size I want to. It's a fantastic machine and I don't need cartridges and can just take the machine when I want to travel. Thanks Brother for creating this wonderful machine.

    Limitless Possibilities!
While I have only just started "playing" with this wonderful ScanNCut 550, I can imagine the possibilities in many applications. It cuts well and I love the fact that when I resize a built in pattern it will adjust each piece of the pattern's elements at the same time. Also being able to do one measurement at a time in some cases is valuable also. Being able to apply a new tacky spray to the mats is very helpful after using it for several projects. Love this machine!

    Brother Scan N Cut 350
I have had a Gazelle cutter and a wishblade cutter. I really enjoy the 350 but, my only problem is finding the USB sticks with the designs I like and finding the mats for embossing, I don't care about rhinestones or quilting. I also love to make my own cut filed. I do wish Canvas was a little more detailed like other cutting software. My cuts are perfect but the mats are not really sticky enough to hold the cardstock and have to use masking tape all the time. SOmetimes the masking tape lets ... read more loose and gets stuck to the scanner and have to turn it over and try and peel the masking tape off. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

    sNc2: the best $ spent!
sNc2 has been the best money we ever spent. I rec'd this as my Christmas gift and I've not stopped using it daily. I am a paper crafter & gave up detailed & fussy cutting a few years back due to visual issues. The sNc now has become my third eye, allowing me to do things I never thought possible. I'm loving the Canvas program as I can design on there, on my big computer screen, save to a thumb drive and then have the sNc do the actual work for me. I am looking forward to the drawing feature ... read more as I got the universal pen holder -- and I am so thankful to Brother for the updates, and the wonderful support team they have for us. I've called twice for assorted questions and right away got a human!!! And then the answer explained to me in such a way I could hang up and go create. THANK YOU BROTHER!!!

    so far
I was so excited to get this machine, but SO FAR, I have made a mess of the tacky sheets, and I think there should be more how to explanations in the manual. It did not come with a scanning sheet for photos and such, and SO FAR I have not attempted anything like that. I did cut out some card stock and it was good, but I have to go online and search for how to videos, maybe an idea book would be great for this machine. I am still learning, SO FAR SO GOOD>

    A dream come true
Finally got a Scan N Cut after eyeing it for over a year. Love it. Have not cut fabric with it yet, but intend to use it to cut applique patterns for my machine embroidery. Did use it to make some Christmas gifts using vinyl and card stock for ornaments. I knew I would love it when I first saw it. Being able to scan the material into the background to see where to cut your design let's you use up every bit of the paper/fabric.

    Good purchase
This was one of the best purchases I have every made. This is just what was needed at the school my granddaughter attends to save time on cutting out paper items for the display board and for the students to use.

    Good purchase.
I bought the ScanNCut 650W to cut out applique, but I'm intrigued by all the other uses. I'm creating banners for my church & have to applique words on each of 8 banners. I think that the machine will help a great deal with this task. Thank you for all the tutorials--great help.

    Great machine
My first experience with a cutting machine, so easy to use, so many possibilities. I've cut paper, card stock and fabric so far. All cut very well. The software is easy to use, little instruction necessary; I have not had to refer to the instruction manual yet, except to set the blade depth. Having the scanner built in makes things quick and easy (although a little manipulation is usually necessary on scanned images). I didn't think I would use the Brother website "canvas", but have found ... read more that to be invaluable. The upload - download directly to the machine is awesome. By eliminating the need for cartridges (like the cricut uses) Brother is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in my opinion!
