Step 1
|
Select motifs on fabric to be used as appliqués.

Step 2
|
Cut out shapes leaving extra fabric around the shape to be cut to size after fusible is applied.

Step 3
|
Follow manufacturer's directions and adhere fusible to wrong side of fabric.

Step 4
|
Cut to appliqué size.
|

Step 5
|
Place shapes on hand towel and fuse in place.
|
|
Step 6
|
Use stitch of choice to appliqué shapes to towel; i.e., qulting appliqué stitch
(1-35 utility menu on the 4500D or 1-34 utility menu on the QC1000). This is a small buttonhole
stitch.

Step 7
|
Draw the stems and leaf with a water soluble marker.
|

Step 8
|
Select Character/Decorative Stitch menu, choose My Custom Stitch® and input the following stitch coordinates:
