    Best over all
This is my first serger ever. I didn’t know if I would or could use one so I didn’t want to pay much. People save it is a challenge to thread. I don’t know about other sergers but with the Bother I find it easy. Just follow the colored lines. I haven’t tried different stitches but the locking stitch is perfect. Very nice seger, I’m glad I bought it.

    Love it!
Purchased this product to be able to do professional seams on skirts to sell them from my small business. I had NEVER used a serger before so was really nervous and imntimidated by the multiple spoils and the very thought of rethreading. But I knew within minutes I LOVED it!!!! It was very easy to learn, I just sat down and went straight to serving some pieces together. I’ve even learned to adjust the feed and tensionsti find the right place for fabrics to prevent puckering etc. I’ve yet to ... read more learn the other features (also yet to need them) I do however intend to learn them as well! Thank you so much for a great product! I look forward to trying more Brother products

    Replacement for worn out serger
My Singer serger died after a very useful long life. I used to sew clothes and bridal dresses for the public. I only sew for my family and friends now. I have mainly used my serger for this only, especially with the fabric that frays so badly today. I have just started using it for some quilting projects recently. Since I do not use it all the time, I checked the reviews and price that would fit my needs. I also saw the serger on It's Sew Easy TV program. It meets my needs, and I threaded it the ... read more first time. YEAAAA! That was always the hardest for me.

    Great beginner Serger
I've been serging for over 30 years. Sadly, I had to give up the serger I had because I could no longer thread the lower looper. After doing some research, I decided to replace my serger with the 1034D. The first week I had it, I made over 30 fleece scarves and they came out perfectly. I must say that threading this machine is a breeze. The lower looper threads so easily. I haven't done the rolled hem yet, that will be next week; but I am hoping it is easy as it looks in the video that I ... read more found on You Tube. The instructional video that comes with the machine does not work on Windows 10. If you enjoy sewing and haven't yet stepped into serging, the 1034 D is a GREAT affordable basic machine. I am very happy that I purchased this machine.

    Best purchase ever!
Automatic threader: I lLOVE this feature! Quick and easy to do without fussing and it works! A step up from the Brother 1034DT and adds 2 thread serving for a little more in price but it's nice to have that option. Comes with blind hemmer and gathering foot and differential feed.

    love this cover stitch
Super simple to use & makes sewing with knits easy. Only "con" I can think of is this machine is sold with the wrong needles, you immediately need to switch the needles to stretch needles to prevent any skipping

    Love Love Love it!!
I absolutely love my 2340CV. I do a lot of hemming for customers and it looks just like "you bought it at the store"! It also is sooooo easy to thread. LOVE IT!

    Good serger
I've had a serger in the past that was difficult to thread and maintain a consistant seam. This serger is less complicated and I really like the results. I actually sewed a replacement out door umbrella top with it.

Glad I got this serger. Easy to thread and use.
I was new to to using a serger but made a pair of size 2 boy shorts in about one half an hour. So easy and quick when sewing with a serger. I also sewed a same size shirt with the serger. So much faster and easier. I like using it.

Nice machine for the money, but a bit noisier than I would like. Also the hand wheel is hard to turn and seems like it gets "stuck". Other than that, no complaints.

    Great Purchase
Love this serger. It is easy to thread once you have done it a couple of times. I now can thread it very quickly. It's a little tricky to change needles because one screw controls both needles, but I have done it. It sews quite nicely. Seams look great!!!
