PocketJet® 6 full-page mobile thermal printers can help your utility crews print the instructions and other documents they need in the field, wherever they are, whenever they need these. This can also help your crews and others to perform more efficiently and safely by quickly printing detailed full-page documents with high-resolution text, graphics and photos practically anywhere, ideal for full-page GIS maps, system and installation diagrams, work orders, parts lists and more.
The PocketJet® 6 line of mobile printers easily connect via USB or wirelessly via an optional Bluetooth® technology interface* to laptops or handhelds. A model is also available to print wirelessly from Apple® iPad® and iPhone® devices◊.
Since they all employ reliable thermal printing technology, there are far fewer moving parts to break than inkjets, no inks or toners, and only one consumable – premium Brother™ thermal paper*. Brother™ thermal paper is available in cut sheet, fanfold and continuous roll media, and in a wide variety of types, including synthetic media designed to withstand harsh weather, as well as custom preprinted media that can bear your company’s logo.
At only about 10" in length, about 2" wide and 1.25" high, and weighing about 1.3 lbs. – including the NiMH battery* – these printers are among the smallest and lightest full-page mobile printing solutions available today. Their one-button printing simplicity also makes them among the easiest to use as well.
A wide array of vehicle mounting and power options* are available for the majority of these models for virtually all vehicles. While most utility crews will print from vehicle-mounted PocketJet® 6 printers, the devices can also be battery-powered and are small enough to hand carry practically anywhere.
