    Best Scan n Cut yet
Love this new version of the amazing Scan n Cut machine! I have used the CM550DX at work to demonstrate to customers, (and to play with myself), but this is the machine I have at home. Connected to my wireless, I can design on Scan n Cut Canvas and load it to the machine. Such Fun!

    sNc2: the best $ spent!
sNc2 has been the best money we ever spent. I rec'd this as my Christmas gift and I've not stopped using it daily. I am a paper crafter & gave up detailed & fussy cutting a few years back due to visual issues. The sNc now has become my third eye, allowing me to do things I never thought possible. I'm loving the Canvas program as I can design on there, on my big computer screen, save to a thumb drive and then have the sNc do the actual work for me. I am looking forward to the drawing feature ... read more as I got the universal pen holder -- and I am so thankful to Brother for the updates, and the wonderful support team they have for us. I've called twice for assorted questions and right away got a human!!! And then the answer explained to me in such a way I could hang up and go create. THANK YOU BROTHER!!!

    Limitless Possibilities!
While I have only just started "playing" with this wonderful ScanNCut 550, I can imagine the possibilities in many applications. It cuts well and I love the fact that when I resize a built in pattern it will adjust each piece of the pattern's elements at the same time. Also being able to do one measurement at a time in some cases is valuable also. Being able to apply a new tacky spray to the mats is very helpful after using it for several projects. Love this machine!

    Love this machine
This is a wonderful machine. After researching all the die cutters on the market, I decided on the Brother scanNcut. It does it all, from scanning to design, to cutting. I love the ability to resize before cutting, although I have had a couple problems with going to small, I can deal with that. My only complaint is the mat loses its "sticky" after only a few uses and has to be cleaned. (I now have two low tack mats, so I keep on cutting.) I have done lace cutouts, lettering and everything in ... read more between. Kudos to Brother for another great product. I can't wait to get the rhinestone kit.

    great purchase
However I'm still learning how to cut. I purchased it mostly to cut fabric shapes that I can scan. I've tried to get the scan n cut canvas people to recognize me but they don't like any email or password I've given them and they will not contact me. I'm a retail fabric store and would like to sell these when I get successful at cutting fabric.

    Scan N Cut
This is the first Brother product I have purchased. I am still learning about how that it can do. I would really have liked a printed manual to go with this that covers all the topics. Internet and youtube videos are helpful but would like something written out that helps me go slower.

    Great purchase!
I am new to cutter machines so I didn't know which brand to buy or even where to start looking at them. My sewing store suggested this one CM650W. My grandchildren and I are loving it so far. Only have had it a month. Can't believe all I will be able to do with it. My only complaint is that the mat has already lost most of it's stickiness. Can't believe that is all the longer it lasted. I hope Brother will come up with a way to re-stick the mat or a better mat to start with that will last longer.

    Love it!
I love my Brother ScanNCut 650. I made toilet paper covers as Christmas presents this year. Cutting circles is something I am absolutely not good at doing. With my ScanNCut I was able to cut out all 18 circles for the tops of the covers! I selected a circle pattern and sized the circle all on my ScanNCut! It was awesome! In no time at all I had all 18 circles cut. It made the whole process shorter and easier. Thank you Brother for my ScanNCut!

    Great cutter; Good Scanner
One must be very careful in scanning that things are black and white....no dark or light grey figures, not even near-black or near-white. Otherwise the sensitive scanner has the machine try to cut out dots and lines. Except for that, the machine is wonderful, especially for folks with arthritis who can no longer use scissors, or those who are klutzy whose matte knives produce ragged cut outs.

    so far
I was so excited to get this machine, but SO FAR, I have made a mess of the tacky sheets, and I think there should be more how to explanations in the manual. It did not come with a scanning sheet for photos and such, and SO FAR I have not attempted anything like that. I did cut out some card stock and it was good, but I have to go online and search for how to videos, maybe an idea book would be great for this machine. I am still learning, SO FAR SO GOOD>
