Love the CM650W more then my CM550/550DX
I just purchased the Brother Scan n cut2 CM650W. I love the bigger screen. I love how precise it cuts really small designs. I love how it hooks up to the internet. Very nice machine works perfectly and I look forward to having as much of a sucess with this machine as I have had with my Brother Scan n Cut CM550/550DX. These Brother Scan n Cut machines are the best of any die cutting machine. Thank you for your innovation.

Does what I wanted it to do
I wanted it to work "with" my embroidery machine and it does. I have a Brother embroidery machine and I can change appliqué files to cutting files. It makes it so easy no more hand cutting. In fact it does it much better than by hand. It is a little bit of a learning curve but I am learning more everyday! I have just scratched the surface of all the things this machine can do. Very happy with this purchase!

    Easy to use
This machine is another easy to use Brother machine. If you use other Brother machines you will find this quite intuitive. I use it heavily to cut patches in my business where I do patches for television and film productions here in Atlanta. My only complaint would be that the mat wore out and got gunky super quick, so I bought a few more to have on hand. I've been reviewing some user forums and trying out some of the cleaning techniques and mat preservation hacks. Also note that with my ... read more heavy use for patches, I learned quickly to occasionally clean the blade and the blade holder to help maintain a clean cut and always, always, always test cut before a job.

    Great Purchase
I was looking for a machine to help cut my quilting fabric and found the CM550DX ScanNCut machine. I went ahead and bought it. It was the greatest purchase I made. I loved the fact that you can cut perfect Quilting squares, Triangles or whatever shape you need to quilt with. I went ahead and purchased the 12 x 24 inch matte and am now able to cut larger quantities and sizes of fabric quilt blocks/patterns needed. Greatest Purchase in my quilting hobby.

I do love the ScanNCut! I have the 1st Edition in KY and the 2nd Edition at our Winter home in Florida. There are so many useful features but I wish it had more built in designs. The other thing is if I don't use it often, I forget how to find the edit buttons. It's always been a guessing game and wish that part was more user friendly. The icons on the machine aren't very clear as to what they actually do. A built in tutorial would be helpful. I take every ScanNCut class I can but until you use ... read more it regularly, I find it frustrating. I wouldn't have any machine though. All in all, I think the quality and versatility of the machine makes it a winner!

    Brother Scan N Cut 350
I have had a Gazelle cutter and a wishblade cutter. I really enjoy the 350 but, my only problem is finding the USB sticks with the designs I like and finding the mats for embossing, I don't care about rhinestones or quilting. I also love to make my own cut filed. I do wish Canvas was a little more detailed like other cutting software. My cuts are perfect but the mats are not really sticky enough to hold the cardstock and have to use masking tape all the time. SOmetimes the masking tape lets ... read more loose and gets stuck to the scanner and have to turn it over and try and peel the masking tape off. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

    I'm pleased
This is the product that is the next one down from the top of the line, but it is still updatable--a must for my purchase. I'm just beginning to use it, but so far I am pleased with my purchase. Great videos but I also took a beginning class which was very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good cutter that will also cut applique fabric shapes--my main reason for this purchase.

    Good purchase
This was one of the best purchases I have every made. This is just what was needed at the school my granddaughter attends to save time on cutting out paper items for the display board and for the students to use.

    A dream come true
Finally got a Scan N Cut after eyeing it for over a year. Love it. Have not cut fabric with it yet, but intend to use it to cut applique patterns for my machine embroidery. Did use it to make some Christmas gifts using vinyl and card stock for ornaments. I knew I would love it when I first saw it. Being able to scan the material into the background to see where to cut your design let's you use up every bit of the paper/fabric.

    CM100
I know I have the old one, but I truly do love it. I had to take it in a couple times in the beginning because it was tearing my mats up. Brother replaced it and it has ran great ever since. Many decorations for birthday parties have been created with it. I just with that I could have more training because I see all the wonderful projects people make and I just don't know how to figure them out. Love, love, love it.
