Cuts multiple items in direct cut.
Overall I like this machine. I have had a couple of issues. The square that adds white space around the item to be cut is off set and has to be pushed in the upper right corner. The scanner does not always read the item to be cut. The mats loose their stickiness more quickly than expected and are expensive to replace. However, most of the time I am very pleased with the results and is saving me money by reducing the number of dies I need to purchase. I am mainly a card maker.

great addition to the craft room
I am enjoying using the CM250 in my craft room. I have 2 other brands of cutting machines that are time consuming to cut out my stamped images. The brother is efficient and easy. The instructional videos are numberous and have made me aware of possibilities I hadn't imagined. I love the scanning feature, to me, it is better than sliced bread. Thanks again for all the instructional videos. Mary

    So good I have 2!
My scan n cuts are working overtime because they are perfect for cutting intricate patterns in one-inch sizes for my art pieces. I love these guys! My Cricut now sits in the closet with all my cartridges since I bought my first scan n cut. The Cricut is fine for big pieces but destroys little pieces.

    A dream come true
Finally got a Scan N Cut after eyeing it for over a year. Love it. Have not cut fabric with it yet, but intend to use it to cut applique patterns for my machine embroidery. Did use it to make some Christmas gifts using vinyl and card stock for ornaments. I knew I would love it when I first saw it. Being able to scan the material into the background to see where to cut your design let's you use up every bit of the paper/fabric.

    I love this machine!
The reason I bought a SNC was the scanning feature. I loved that I could cut a stamped image and eliminate the fussy cutting I used to do. But I've learned it can do so much more. I've made a number of stencils and have saved money not having to buy dies. I have done some basic design work in the online software Canvas but I'd much rather just purchase files already designed. There are so many talented designers to choose from and the paper sculptures are amazing. I love this machine and ... read more would definitely recommend it. The biggest drawback is it is a bit noisy.

    Love this machine
I have never used a die cut machine and find the Brother CM350 amazingly easy to use. So easy in fact, that I'm well on my way making wedding invitations for my daughter, which are absolutely beautiful. My only issue is that the blades and blade holders fit inconsistently making it difficult to determine settings. Also, the machine vibrates so much that the blade setting changes by an entire number. Otherwise, I love this machine and can't wait to come up with more projects.

    Love it!!
I am absolutely in love with this machine. It's not to hard to learn. I did use some scrap material to play around with it at first until I felt comfortable with knowing what I'm doing. I am very happy I bought it! This machine just does so much and came with a good amount of things! I wouldn't change the type of machine at all!

    Glad I bought it!
My husband suggested it when he bought me my dream machine and I'm glad as I really love it. I'm still learning what it can do. I really like how easy it is to learn and I like that I can copy something and cut it out so easily.

    Made my Christmas
I used my scan and cut not only to make some gifts but made the boxes to give the gift in. I am using the scan and cut canvas . What a great website. I am not sure where I can buy the other design and how to convert a design.
