    Snan N Cut Sweepstakes
I entered the Back to School Sweepstakes, never expecting to win. (I never win anything) And then I did. I've only had a little bit of time to play with it, but I really love it. I do cut outs for the grandchildren for their arts and crafts projects. I was able to see a demo at a Sewing Expo, so that was a great deal of help. Hopefully, more time after the holidays, but I would definitely recommend this.

    Great cutter; Good Scanner
One must be very careful in scanning that things are black and dark or light grey figures, not even near-black or near-white. Otherwise the sensitive scanner has the machine try to cut out dots and lines. Except for that, the machine is wonderful, especially for folks with arthritis who can no longer use scissors, or those who are klutzy whose matte knives produce ragged cut outs.

    Seems cool. Complex to use
This tool seems to have some really cool features and capabilities. However, the software is somewhat complex. I wish I could find a local class so I can get more out of it.

    Great crafting tool
Love the capabilities of this machine. I use it mostly to cut out stamped images. HOWEVER, the mats are subpar. The price of a mat is obscene for no longer than the stickiness lasts.

Makes me look like a creative genius!
My Scan 'n Cut allows me to cut my cork fabric and apply creative designs to my handbags. I also love using it for cutting paper and making bulletin boards. It saves me so much time!

    good purchase
This was a good purchase for me. I'm very familiar with the brother name. I purchased the SNC because of the price point. While I have enjoyed using my SNC, learning it was not that simple ... even Canvasworks is a bit of a challenge. Thank goodness for YouTube and a lot of generous YouTubers who share their knowledge. If not for that, I probably would have done my SNC as I did my Cricut ... put it on a shelf for years.

    scan n cut 2
This was my retirement gift to myself. So far I love my machine. The scanning feature was the biggest reason I purchased and also to save money on simple dies, so far that has been perfect. I had great success with cutting vinyl. I do wish I had written instructions as I tend to repeat several videos to operate. Customer Service was nice to me as I think I called with a silly question but she helped me thru the process. So far just simple projects, however, I am about to tackle my biggest ... read more projects with tatter lace usb and other dvds. Just wish I had gotten the M650 for the 12 x 24 mat surface space. Maybe someday.

I bought one in 2017, then we went on vacation, I didn't bring any of my things with me to craft. So my hubby took me out on February 14, 2018, and bought me my 2nd CM650W. Now I have one for home and one for the motor home. 1st one was used only for card making. This 2nd one is going to be used for vinyl. My first shirt, not bad.

    SO WORTH IT!!!
I've been doing embroidery for several years and wanted to expand my customizing abilities. This machine is PERFECT for that! I can create amazing heat transfer vinyl designs that I can put on a much wider variety of products. So far I've cut adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, paper, and fabric. And I've only had it for a month! It's super easy to use and the scanner function is amazing for allowing you to use small scraps to get the most of your materials. I love being able to scan in ... read more the background and position my designs exactly where I want them. It's also super convenient that the machine connects to wifi and I can send my designs straight to it from ScanNCut Canvas, no USB hassle required! I highly recommend this machine in every way!
