How do I clear the message "Replace Ink - Cannot Print" from my Brother machine's display?

Description of Solution 200000033836

The message "Replace Ink – Cannot Print" means that the ink cartridge(s) indicated on your Brother machine's LCD has reached the end of its life.

- When the black ink cartridge has reached the end of its life, the machine will stop all print operations.

- If one of the color cartridges has reached the end of its life, do one of the following:

If you are using a Windows computer, refer to the solution: "How do I print in Grayscale or Black and White in Windows?"

If you are using a Macintosh, refer to the solution: "How do I print in Grayscale or Black and White on a Macintosh?"

- Black and white faxes will be stored in the machine's memory while memory is available.

- If someone sends you a color fax, the machine will request that it be sent in black and white.  If the sending machine is able to convert the fax, it will be stored in your machine's memory as a black and white fax.

- If the "Replace Ink – Cannot Print" message appeared after you attempted to print a color document, press the STOP/EXIT key to cancel the print job.

If the LCD reads "Replace Ink – B&W Print Only," then you can print in Black and White Mode.  For more information, refer to the solution: "My Brother machine's LCD reads 'Replace Ink' and 'B&W Print Only.' What can I do?"

To clear the "Replace Ink" message, you must replace the ink cartridge(s) indicated on your Brother machine's LCD.
