I replaced the drum unit and continue to get the "Replace Drum" or "Drum Stop" message. How do I reset the drum counter?

Description of Solution 200000039851

If the machine displays the message "Replace Drum or "Drum Stop", the drum unit has reached the end of its life and a new drum unit will need to be installed.

If the drum unit has been replaced and message continues to appear, the drum counter will need to be reset.

To reset the drum counter when "Replace Drum" or "Drum Stop" is currently appearing on the LCD:

1.  Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Machine Info. Press OK.

2.  Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Reset Parts Life. Press OK.

NOTE: If Reset Parts Life is not an option, this means "Replace Drum or "Drum Stop" is not on currently displayed on the LCD.  The option is only available when machine has the "Replace Drum" or "Drum Stop" message.

3.  Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Drum Unit. Press OK.

4.  Press the UP ARROW key to reset the drum unit counter.

5.  The display will show "Accepted" and the machine will return to "Ready".
