Birdhouses are not just for Summer but can be festive indoor or outdoor holiday decorations. Follow these instructions to make you own P-touch Embellish personalized log cabin birdhouse.
Stain the house in a wash of brown acrylic paint. Then, glue mini trees on the front porch of the cabin.
Mimic a snowy texture on the top of the roof and wooden beams with a light and quick application of white acrylic paint. Paint a square on the front porch of the cabin door in place of a "welcome" mat. Use the P-touch Embellish to print a ribbon that says Welcome. For this we used the font Calgary, selected medium size and used frame 3. Glue on the white square on the porch for a perfect welcome mat.
Next, design and print a ribbon to line the roof. For this ribbon we used Frame 37, Berlin font, Style 4 to add a shadow and used the message “Happy Holidays”. Once printed to glue to the front and back top of the roof.
For the final personal touch, we used the same font and shadow effect as in step 6 for the family name. Glue across the front of the house.
