Intro Post

Spring feels like hope to me. And what's more hopeful than a rainbow! So, I used my ScanNCut DX to cut all of the pieces to make this super cute rainbow mobile with sparkly dimensional raindrops:

You can get a sense of the wonderful motion this mobile has in this series of photos of it blowing in the wind:

I used simple materials to make the mobile: painted chipboard for the rainbow, twine to hang it all together, cardstock for the raindrops, and my favorite part of the whole mobile: big chunky glitter!

To add the glitter quickly and easily, I painted the bottom half of each raindrop with glue and then dipped the raindrop into my jar of chunky glitter.

With the help of the ScanNCut DX, this rainbow mobile came together quickly and easily. Thanks to the AutoBlade I was able to quickly cut chipboard and cardstock without even thinking about it. All I had to do was put my material on the mat and press, “Start.” I hope you're feeling the happy Spring vibes in your corner of the world…and making wonderful things with your ScanNCut DX!
