Intro Post
Tip: Do not underestimate the basic built-in designs of your ScanNCutDX! Think about what shapes your more complex image will be, break it way down, and make the most of your simple shapes as I did in this project.

Supplies Needed:

  • ScanNCutDX
  • Standard mat
  • 12” dowel
  • Ribbon or twine
  • Assorted cardstock
  • 2 buttons
  • Brown pen
  • Double sided tape/adhesive
  • Hot glue or liquid adhesive
What do you do when you want to create unique décor for your next camp out or just to bring a bit of woodland fun into your home? You break out the ScanNCutDX, some paper, and get creating! For this project I sketched a cartoon-y fox and then piece by piece (working large to small) I put together what I would need for each element, adding things like whiskers, closed eyes, and so much more. This is a really fun project that you could create with any number of critters in mind. What could be more fun? Try this with felt, fabric, vinyl, a combination of materials, or add in stitching for even more options!
