Homemade Gifts for Dad

With Father's Day coming up, ScanNCut Specialist May Flaum creates not one, but two homemade gifts for Dad for his special day.

Sometimes dreaming up the perfect homemade gift can seem impossible, as well as really time consuming. An alternative? Alter and customize items and let your ScanNCutDX bring your semi-homemade game to new heights! With both sticker and iron-on vinyl options, you can customize anything from a shirt to a photo album. In this project, I will decorate both a tie and a clear jar to gift dad. Once the tie is out of the jar it can be used to hold coins, candy, or any bits and pieces on his desk. The wonderful thing about these projects is that your ScanNCut will do all the heavy lifting!

Supplies needed: ScanNCutDx, standard mat, iron on vinyl, sticker vinyl (assorted colors), vinyl transfer material, and item(s) to adhere the vinyl on to such as a tie and/or a mason jar.
