Skitch is a single needle, tabletop machine for beginner or new embroiderers. It allows users new to embroidery to try a smaller hoop size for DIY and Upcycling.


Yes, Skitch does not have an LCD or built-in designs, so Artspira is necessary.


Skitch works with two specific hoop sizes, a 4” x 4” hoop (comes in the box) and a 3” x 3” hoop as an optional accessory (SAMPF70).


We recommend embroidery, polyester thread.


After subscribing or signing up for the free trial, you can access the Artist Designs by connecting your machine to Artspira then going into the Embroidery Designs category under ‘Artist Designs’.


Open the Artspira app, under Explore swipe the buttons to the left and you will see the education button at the end of the list.


Yes – Artspira (free version) allows you to upload up to 20 designs while the paid version (Artspira+) allows you to upload 100 designs.

No, Skitch is Bluetooth however using your WIFI with the Artspira app will allow for a seamless app experience.


There are over 500 free embroidery designs in Artspira with more being added monthly.


In the free version, you can import and save 20 designs. For embroidery machines you will need to upload as a .PES file.

If you are in Artspira+ you can use the basic digitizing tool to take images to stitches.
