To reduce waste on the end of your label tape, choose:

  • Menu → Scroll to “Margin” → Scroll to “Narrow” → Hit “OK.”
  • Always clear your machine before you start a new project. If you don’t, it will use the setting that was in place for the previous project. Hold the ↑ button and T.
  • Make the project personal. Scroll through your machine until you find the perfect font, frame, pattern, or symbol to use.
  • The Downloadable Product Guide (link to open in a new tab) shows all of the symbols and frames.
  • For special characters, hold down the "Shift" ↑ key and select the keyboard numbers for the desired character to appear in the field.

You can print labels to your desired size:

  • Menu → Scroll to “Width” → Scroll to desired size → Hit “OK.”
  • In the bottom right of the screen, it will tell you your label length.

Step 1: Organize Your Station

Arrange your gift-wrapping supplies into categories (e.g., Wrapping Paper, Ribbons & Bows, Gift Tags, Tape & Dispensers, Scissors & Tools, Tissue Paper, Gift Bags, and Decorations).

Step 2: Choose Label Colors

Select different colored Btag Label Tapes to represent different categories. This will make it easy to locate items quickly.

Step 3: Scroll through a library of Fonts and Symbols

On your P-touch PT-N10 Label Maker, browse through the fonts and font styles that includes underline and italic. Choose different frames and symbols to find the best way to customize your message!

Step 4: Create Category / Specific Supply Labels

Using your P-touch Label Maker, print labels for each of your main categories (e.g., "Wrapping Paper," "Ribbons & Bows," "Gift Tags"). Print labels for specific types of supplies within each category (e.g., "Tissue Paper - White," "Ribbon - Red," "Gift Tags - Occasion"). This is where color coding comes in handy.

Step 5: Print and Arrange Labels

Print your Labels to your desired length. Use a ruler or measuring tape for precise measurements if needed.

Tip: You can print the labels to meet your needs, by adjusting the width.

Step 6: Adhere Labels

With the easy-peel backing, stick your labels to the appropriate containers, drawers, shelves, or designated areas within your gift-wrapping station.
