Cinco de Mayo Cactus Centerpiece

ScanNCut Specialist May Flaum creates a snazzy faux Cactus Piñata for her upcoming Cinco de Mayo gathering.

For my Cinco de Mayo brunch this year, I wanted something fun, festive, and just a little bit different. I thought about making a piñata, though I didn’t intend to fill it with anything or hang it. So, I came up with a really fun project made of chipboard and paper and just a bit of hot glue. I love how the ScanNCut took my wild idea and helped me create a centerpiece for my table, a decoration just for fun! This project could be altered for any size, shape, or style that you like.

Supplies needed:
ScanNCutDX, standard mat, 2 sheets chipboard, 4-5 sheets green paper, 3-4 sheets pink paper, hot glue, tape runner style dry adhesive, buttons, and a pair of scissors or craft knife.
