Link Your Artspira and CanvasWorkspace Accounts

Supplies:

• ScanNCut DX
• Mobile Device with an Internet connection and Artspira App
• CanvasWorkspace Account
• Artspira Account

There’s a question that I’ve heard quite a few times in the past month or so: Does the Artspira app replace CanvasWorkspace?! The answer is, “no, it does not.” You can easily use both CanvasWorkspace and the Artspira app with your ScanNCut DX Cutting Machine. Yay!

And today I’m so pleased to be able to take you through the process of linking your Artspira account with your CanvasWorkspace account.

Here are the things to know about linking your CanvasWorkspace and Artspira accounts:

Be sure to update your machine’s firmware. If you have a wirelessly activated ScanNCut DX, like I do, an alert will pop up when a new firmware update is available.

In the Artspira app, look along the bottom bar of the app and click on “settings.”

From there, you will choose Account and then User Information. Under User Information, you will see the “Account Linkage” list. There are four kinds of accounts that you can link to your Artspira account: a Brother account, a CanvasWorkspace account, an Apple account, and a Google account. We want to link to our CanvasWorkspace account.

If your CanvasWorkspace account isn’t already linked, then go ahead and tap on CanvasWorkspace. You will see a space to enter the email associated with your CanvasWorkspace account as well as your password. Once you’ve entered all of the information, choose “link.”

Now your two accounts are linked. Hooray! From this point forward, you’ll be able to easily send cutting data from both CanvasWorkspace and the Artspira app to your ScanNCut DX Cutting Machine.
