Upcycling Project: Super Dimensional Antique Heart

Here’s an upcycling idea for you: transform the back of any pad of paper into a piece of art like this super dimensional antique looking heart!

When I finish using a pad of paper, I save the chipboard backing to use as a craft supply. For this project, I scanned in a hand drawn design:

And then I cut that design from the upcycled chipboard:

I simply glued them to a heart base – also cut from upcycled chipboard – and added a few layers of paint. And ta’da!
The next time you finish a pad of paper, I hope you won’t throw away that backing. Instead, make it into something fabulous!!
