Intro Post

Normally we gather together and celebrate the holidays, but this year looks a little different! To spread some gratitude and holiday cheer, I’ve turned to my favorite buddy Mickey Mouse to help me! One of the designs I always thought looked tricky? DIY treat boxes. So many cuts and folds in a project - that must be hard, right? NO! In fact, creating your own treat boxes couldn’t be easier with the ScanNCut cutting all of the perforated dots, tabs, and so much more. I’ve found dressing mine up is extra fun, and to do so I’ve enlisted the help of some watercolors and leaves to take this general gift box from any occasion to a Disney Thanksgiving crafting experience!

Supplies Needed:
  • ScanNCut DX
  • Patterned paper
  • Watercolor paper
  • Buttons
  • Hot glue
  • Paintbrush

Tip: Use the scan feature to see your material and turn your cut file so that you can optimize which part of the design will show up on your finished cut piece! This is a handy way to make the most from beautiful material and patterns.
