Video Quick Tip: Luminaire XP1 Thread Rack
How to set up the portable thread rack on the Luminaire Innov-ís XP1.
Need to add multiple spools of thread or even larger ones? The Brother Luminaire Innov-ís XP1
has the ability to turn the top of the machine into a portable thread rack! Gone are the days of removing the top lid and setting it on the floor! I was so excited to see this feature in the Luminaire Innov-ís XP1.
Locate the small box that looks like this:
Open the box, remove the lid, and set up the spool rack (see video below). Then open the top lid, but do not remove.
Notice the magnets on the inside of the top lid.
These magnets coordinate with 2 magnets underneath the thread rack. The rack fits into the lid and stays in place.
There is room on each side to place bobbins, scissors, or extra sewing supplies. You can also quickly remove the thread rack and pack it up for travel or storage.
