Can I print a report to verify a fax I sent was received?

Description of Solution 200000008534

Your Brother machine is equipped with a Transmission Verification Report that can be used as confirmation that you sent a fax.  This report lists the name or fax number of the receiving party, the date, time, and duration of the transmission, the number of pages transmitted, and whether or not the transmission was successful.

There are two settings available for the Transmission Verification Report:

- ON: the Transmission Verification Report prints after every fax you send.

- OFF: the Transmission Verification Report prints if your fax is unsuccessful due to a transmission error.  This is the default setting.

To program the Transmission Verification Report, follow these steps:

1. Press MENU/SET, 7 (Setup Reports), 1 (Transmission).

2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select On or Off.

3. Press the MENU/SET key.

4. Press the STOP/EXIT key.

NOTE:

-          If your transmission is successful, "OK" will appear next to Result on the Transmission Verification Report.

-          If your transmission is not successful, "NG" will appear next to Result on the Transmission Verification Report.

PRINTING A TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION REPORT FOR YOUR LAST TRANSMISSION

You can print the Transmission Verification Report for your last transmission by following these steps:

1. Make sure there are no documents in the Brother machine's Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).

2. Press COPY/REPORTS, 1 (Transmission).
