So far great machine. Replaced a MFC 7820N that we have been using at our business for 6 years. Its still working fine, went for a bigger machine. Can't go wrong with the Brother machines.

I print mortgage docs, 150 to 250 pages per closing, 3-4 times per day, 5 days a week and so on. This printer is a work horse. I bought the 2nd tray for legal and letter pages and I can print an entire package of 150 to 250 pages in less then 3 minutes. GREAT printer. It duplexs great. This printer replaced another Brother HL5170DNLT that printed the same quantity for over 10 years. That printer was an old work horse and needed sent to pasture. So far, I love it.

Had an old Brother networked laser printer for the past 7+ years and was looking for a WIFI machine. But I had several things in mind that my old machine just could not do. WIFI, Duplex, copy legal size, and have a multi-sheet, multi-murpose feed tray instead of the single feed that was almost impossible to keep straight. When I got it set up I discovered it was far quieter than my old machine also. But wait there's more.
On top of what I was looking for, I also got a huge increase in printing speed and Brother iPrint&scan. I had to try this out as it works with my iPhone. For me iPrint works like this. I have my files in Dropbox, If I need something printed now, instead of turning on the computer, I can use the dropbox app to pull the file up on the iPhone then send to the printer using iPrint and I am done. Scanning was pretty easy too. I was able to scan a document, see it on the iPhone and save to dropbox. I then can go back to it later.
Lastly it came with a full toner cartridge when I bought it and not just a starter cartridge. All of this would have sold me but it was also on sale.
Super machine. Only downside is the size. But duplexing and legal size copying cause that so I am not complaining at all. My wife even likes how much easier it is to operate.
