Nice buy

Fed up from inkJet issues (e.g. ink getting dried) and still needing color printing I decided to move to laser printers. The price factor drawn my attention to Brother and rudimentary research led me to have one.

My usage is very light but for a month or so I have no issue and it operates as expected. A small concern is that after a page is printed you really have to insert your hand in to get the paper out even when the small plastic prop is engaged; not a big deal though.

Still Evaluating
March 18, 2015

Scanning is not as good as with my other scanner.
Makes the copies with airy letters.
Using the copier of the same document has a red/green tint to it.
Getting used to a laser is a small challenge.
Had my first jam 03/16/2015.
Tricky trying to unjam it.
Originals are very good both black/white and color.

Greatest multifunction printer I every had
March 17, 2015
By EVLW from Minnesota
Awesome multifunction all in one printer. All most did not buy because of the reviews of being noisy but is not bad at all. Holds more paper then either of my other two, prints faster, prints both sides great, copys and scans perfect and fax’s great. Great price and a great machine.

worst printer
March 4, 2015
By Bostonbound from Boston MA
I have a small business and thought having an expensive laser printer would be a great idea. I've had it 1 year and its as broken twice, the paper feed had issues and then back cover kept sticking I was getting ink lines on the paper, It was covered under warranty and was replaced, however I had to buy another printer while I waited to get a new one. I've never experienced so many so issues with one printer, It lasted 6 months, and I've had other printers that lasted for years. I tried to see if Brothers would just credit me back some of my money so I could buy another printer and they wouldn't Now I only use it for limited use.
